BALLET NACIONAL DEL SODRE (Uruguay)
El Hilo Rojo (The Red Thread), premiered in April 2022, delves into the intricate connections and disconnections among nine dancers. This groundbreaking piece features a diverse cast of both disabled and non-disabled performers, marking it as the first inclusive commission by BNS. Through narrative, movement and expression, the work invites audiences to reflect on the beauty of individuality and vulnerability and the unity and strength found in diversity.

This work, originally designed for a gallery environment, depicts and explores atmospheres and scenery of nature.
Commissioned by ArtCatcher London and first showcased at The Arts Pavilion in Mile End, this piece has been presented in various venues, including the Lyric Hammersmith.
It includes a cast of six dancers, complemented by a community ensemble.
